I have been using OneNote almost daily for years, both personally and professionally. More recently, I have started exploring OneNote to see what is possible when you combine this powerful tool with instruction. There are so many resources available to get you started using OneNote. The following interactive video walks you through how to create interactive lessons using OneNote.
My daughter is a freshman in college and I noticed she is using an app called Pocket Points.
It is designed to keep high school and college students off their cell phones while in class, and rewards them for doing so. I can't decide what I think about it, because I can tell that the intent behind the app is good, but I also know that students use their phones during class sometimes for instructional purposes.

You can even create a 'teacher store' to offer students incentives, or they can collect points to use at local and online businesses for student discounts, coupons, and gifts.
